Events Officer / Senior Events Officer

Main Duties and Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualise, coordinate and execute planned events/activities
  • Brainstorm with the subcommittee to plan events that are popular, engaging and fresh for the members. Subsequently, a draft work plan of committees activities must be submitted by end of October of each physical FY for the new FY
  • Liaise closely with event company, travel agency and all other external parties to ensure all logistic arrangements are taken care of, to achieve members’ satisfaction
  • Create publicity materials such as banners and posters for publicity and publicising them through email blast, company website, committee members etc.
  • Perform all event administrative duties such as responding to enquiry, reservation, registration, fees collection, etc.
  • Handle all corporate/private events’ enquiries, ascertain client’s requirements, prepare proposal/quotation and assist the client until the event ended, inclusive of bowling enquiries delegated by Executive.
  • Establish and manage every event’s budget closely to ensure a positive balance sheet with all expenses is accounted for, including collection of all participating fees
  • Submit all the necessary administrative requirements for post event/activity to events executive to vet before submitting to the manager not later than 3 days on completion of the events/activities.
  • Monitor, tabulate and submit participation data to the team leader, together with collating members’ feedback for improvement
  • Administratively to provide assistance to Executive Secretary during Management Committee meeting.
  • Cover the duties of the Junior Executive in her absence as and when the need arises.
  • Perform any other duties as and when assigned by your Manager

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  • At least Diploma in Events/Marketing or related discipline
  • Minimum 2 year of relevant experience in Events Management
  • Proficient in MS Office, Desktop Publishing Skills and Adobe Photoshop
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task, results-oriented, independent, creative and resourceful
  • Pleasant deposition with positive attitude
  • Willing to work on weekends and public holidays when necessary

F&B Service Staff (Part-time)

Main Duties and Key Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day operations in F&B entertainment outlets (serving, taking orders, clearing, billing etc.) and render quality customer service to visitors. 
  • Maintain good customer relations and project courteous and hospitable attitude at all times. 
  • Maintain cleanliness of the entertainment outlets. 
  • Perform any other duties as and when assigned by your Supervisor
Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be at least 16 years old 
  • Willing to perform shift work on weeknights, weekends, and public holidays 
  • Able to work in the Jurong East area 
  • Self-provision of shoes and pants

Hourly Rates:

  • $8.00/hr (Non-peak)
  • $9.00/hr (Peak)

Banquet Operations Service Staff (Part-time)

Main Duties and Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in setting up room decorations and furniture arrangement.
  • Ensure all food and beverages are prepared and served correctly and promptly.
  • Perform tear-down after the function and return/keep all equipment and furniture.
  • Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the Supervisor. 
Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be at least 16 years old
  • Willing to work in the Jurong East area
  • Self-provision of black shoes, pants or skirt

Hourly Rates:

  • $8.00/hr (Non-peak)
  • $9.00/hr (Peak)
